Earthquake!

This morning around 5:30 both Jared and I woke up to our bed shaking. I was really confused at because our house has never moved like that before and we live in the Midwest where earthquakes are pretty much non-existent. I thought maybe it was super windy outside but when Jared looked outside it wasn't windy at all. When I checked the news this morning I found out, much to my suprise, that it was indeed an earthquake. Apparently it was a pretty big one too. I was based in Illinois and measured in at 5.4.
This story is a little ironic as I just told my friend, Kristen ,a few days ago that we didn't have to worry about earthquakes here in Indiana. I guess I spoke too soon.

  1. Oh scary. I'm glad that you guys are okay. What a strange thing. I would think that you wouldn't have earthquakes either. Weird.

  6. That is crazy!! We had an earthquake out here back in October, apparently it was a big one, but I did not feel it, so that's good! I hope there are no more earthquakes, but you never know!
