Stake Luau

Every year our stake puts on a Stake Luau. It is usually a fun activity with a huge turnout. This year it was held outside in the church parking lot, which I thought was great idea. It gave everyone plenty of room to move around and the weather was gorgeous. Jared and I had fun visiting with people from our ward and the kids had fun running around and being spoiled by the older kids in our ward. It was a great Saturday night activity.

After some of the Polynesian dancing started Tori put her lei around her waste and told me she was a dancer

Everyone kept giving Tori there leis and this was the result

School Days!

Wow, I feel like I have been on a blogging roll lately. Landon started preschool again on Monday. He was so ready to get back to school. This year he is in the afternoon PreK class that meets five days a week. We were excited to find that most of his class consists of his friends from last year. I don't know what these kids are going to do when they all have to go there separate ways for Kindergarten next year.
Landon wasn't to excited about having to take pictures before school, he just wanted to go!
We are so lucky that Landon gets to have Miss Debbie as a teacher again this year, she is awesome, and we love her!
I just had to include these next two pictures. The first one was taken last Friday (before his Preschool open house) and the second one was taken last year on the first day of school. I can't believe how much Landon has grown up over the past year, it is exciting and sad all at the same time.

I can't believe Landon will be starting Kindergarten next year and Tori will be starting Preschool. It just seems like my babies are growing up way to fast!

Family Pictures 2009

My friend Lillian took some family pictures for us a few weeks ago. I got them back today and I love them. It is really great having such a talented friend.

Potty Time...

I think one of the worst things about being a parent to young children is potty training. While the end result is awesome, the whole process pretty much stinks (pun intended). I decided a few months ago that September would be the month I'd start potty training Tori. I potty trained Landon in September and it worked out great, the fun summertime outside activities are winding down but it is still warm enough to let your kid run around the house half naked.
We started potty training last Tuesday. Tori has done pretty well so far. Here is to having two kids out of diapers!
And just think we get to do it all again next year...

Little Miss Ella

My baby girl is something else. She isn't very verbal yet but she makes her opinions known loud and clear. She is so full of personality, she is sweet, happy, funny, dramatic, sassy, ornery, and independent. And she loves to dance...

The older she gets, and the more I see of her personality, the more I fall in love with this little girl.
