33 Weeks...

I hate having my picture taken, but I especially hate having my picture taken while I am pregnant. However my friend Summer and my brother Ben wanted to see a pregnant picture of me, so I figured what the heck. This picture was taken on Sunday and I am 33 weeks 1 day pregnant in it. This is the biggest I have ever been at this point in any of my pregnancies and I am I starting to get a lot of new stretch marks which aren't very pretty and itch really bad. I have also started to have trouble sleeping, bad heart burn, and a lot of hip pain. Needless to say this isn't my favorite part of pregnancy. All that being said I am thankful for a pretty easy going pregnancy and I know that all these normal pregnancy "pains" will be more then worth it when my baby is born here in about a month and a half. So here you go my first (and probably last) pregnant picture for this pregnancy. I hope you all enjoy :).

Spring is FINALLY Here!

It seems like just over this past week Spring has magically appeared. The grass is suddenly greener and leaves and blossoms are starting to sprout on all the trees. The weather has been beautiful and it all just makes me so happy! Indiana is so beautiful in the Spring and Summer and having all this beauty around me makes me less homesick for the desert of Nevada. The other day I took the kids out to play in our yard and it is amazing to see how green our lawn has turned in just a few weeks, pretty soon we are going to have to start mowing it again.

Earthquake!

This morning around 5:30 both Jared and I woke up to our bed shaking. I was really confused at because our house has never moved like that before and we live in the Midwest where earthquakes are pretty much non-existent. I thought maybe it was super windy outside but when Jared looked outside it wasn't windy at all. When I checked the news this morning I found out, much to my suprise, that it was indeed an earthquake. Apparently it was a pretty big one too. I was based in Illinois and measured in at 5.4.
This story is a little ironic as I just told my friend, Kristen ,a few days ago that we didn't have to worry about earthquakes here in Indiana. I guess I spoke too soon.

More Digi Scrapbook pages

I have been having a lot of fun working on my Digital Scrapbook pages over the last few weeks. I think that I am starting to like doing my pages digital more then I like doing them by hand. Anyway today I found a tutorial on how to blend images . I thought that the pages I did using this technique turned out pretty cool and I just wanted to share.
Update: For those of you who may be interested I used the tutorial Blending Made Easy to do these layouts. this lady also has a lot of other tutorials that I'd like to try.

"I'll be baaaaack! And I am baaaack!"

If you all will indulge me for a just a moment, I have to take a moment and share my excitement. After almost 5 months of no new episodes of The Office (due to the Writer's Strike) we finally get a brand new episode tonight! I am so excited! As many of you already know The Office is my favorite TV show and I have really missed having something to watch over the past few months. So for all you The Office fans out there don't forget to watch tonight, it's gonna be zoppity:).

Book Tag

My friend Kristen tagged me with a book tag.

To complete this tag you must:

1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages)

2. Turn to page 123

3.Find the 5th sentence

4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog

5.Tag 5 people

"We have now completed the first three basic building blocks in our algorithm to study isothermal chemical reactions and reactors."

Sounds like an interesting read huh? Unfortunately the closest book to me was one of Jared's chemical engineering books titled Elements of Chemical Reaction Engineering. Needless to say I won't be reading that book anytime soon.

Now I tag: Brent or Shayla (whoever wants to do it), Ariane, Cynthia, Theresa

Pregnancy Update and other Random Stuff

I am just about 30 weeks along in my pregnancy. I can't believe that in a little over 2 months I will be having another baby. I am very excited but also very nervous as I have heard that the adjustment to 3 kids can be the hardest. In not so great news I found out yesterday that I failed my one hour glucose test for gestational diabetes. This means that I have to go into tomorrow and do the fasting 3 hour glucose test. This is the first time I have ever failed the one hour test and I am not looking forward to having to do the 3 hour test. I really hope that I pass it and that I don't in fact have Gestational Diabetes. Wish me luck....
On a happier note things here are going well. The kids are doing great and I love watching them interact with each other. On Sunday the Primary Chorister asked if I would go into Nursery and do singing time with the k ids. I had Torilynn and when I got into the Nursery they were still eating their snack. I decided to wait and a little girl came up to Tori and started to play with her. Landon looked right at this little girl and said "Cora you be nice to baby Tori" Cora wasn't doing anything that wasn't nice to Tori but it sure was cute to see Landon so protective of his little sister. Also during singing time Landon sang "Jesus wants Me for a Sunbeam" at the top of his lungs. It was very cute and I hope he keeps it up.
Here are some pictures of the kidos:
Tori is learning how to drink out of a straw sippy cup. I can't believe that she will be a year old next month. The time has really flown!

Yesterday was a pretty nice day so I took the kids to play outside for a little while.
Landon had a great time playing with his ball. He really liked kicking it around the yard. I just had to make sure that he stayed away from the street.

Landon also had fun "raking" the leaves that have been hidden under the snow for the last 4 months.

Tori just enjoyed being outside.
She also really liked crawling around in the grass.
It is a good thing that we got to play outside a little yesterday because today it is raining. I would complain but I'm just happy it isn't snowing :).
