Bridal Shower and more.

So we made it to Vegas safely. I was so happy to see Landon once I got here. Jared's Dad and Landon picked me up from the airport. When Landon first saw me he gave me a look like he didn't know who I was. I was about to get really sad and then he got all excited and came right to me. We have been having fun and it is nice to have all my kids back. Landon really misses Jared and keeps asking about him. He is going to have wait another 3 weeks to see him.We have had a lot of fun visiting with family these last few days. We spent most of Friday with my family. It was so nice to see everyone. I got to see my brother Matt who I haven't seen since before he left on his mission over 2 years ago. I have also had a lot of fun with Jared's family. Today we went shopping for shoes for the wedding. I t was ton of fun and I love spending time with them!

On Saturday we had my sister Cynthia's bridal shower. My sister-in-law Shayla did such a wonderful job putting it together. The food was delicious, the company was great, and the decorations were beautiful. We had a lot of fun and my sister got a lot of great gifts.
The beautiful bride to be, Cynthia
My step-sister's son, Noah, was so cute at the shower he grabbed a nightie out of the bag before my sister could get to it and wrapped it around himself.
My cute nephew, Brighton, sporting some super cool shades.

Saturday day and night I hung out with my cousin Theresa and one of my very best friends Stacey. It was so nice to see them! I wish that I could see them more often, I really miss them. I meant to get a picture of the three of us but some how it slipped my mind.

Tori before church.
Grammy painted Tori and Ella's finger and toe nails to match hers for church. They looked so cute!
The real exciting stuff is yet to come. My sister gets married on Friday and my brother-in-law, Jeremiah, gets home from his mission next Tuesday. I am so excited, it should be great!

Quick Update

Nothing exciting has really been going on with us but I got the urge to update my blog so here I am. Jared has been working preparing for Comps and he has also bee putting together an Eagle Court of Honor for two boys in the ward. The girls and I have have just been hanging out and going over to friends in the ward every so often. I am pretty sure that you all wish that your life was as fun and exciting as ours ;). The girls and I will head out to Vegas on Thursday. I am super excited to see mine and Jared's family. I am especially excited to see my brother Matt who got off his mission in May and of course I can't wait to see Landon. I have really missed and it makes me happy that I will see him in a few days. Anyway that is what has been going on here. I will leave with some pictures of the girls. Ella is getting bigger by the day. She has started to smile and coo a little but it is still hard to tell if she is smiling at us or if she is just moving her mouth.

Here is Tori dressed for church today.

And as a special treat here is a video. I know a lot of you don't care to see random videos of my children but for those that do I hope you enjoy.

P.S. Sorry about the crying baby in the background

The 4th of July and Ellalyn's Blessing

We actually didn't do anything for the 4th of July but our ward did have a 4th of July party yesterday and it was a lot of fun. Our ward is awesome and it was great to visit with other families and eat delicious food.

Jared with the girlsMe with the girls

Ellalyn turned one month old yesterday. She still isn't doing much but eating, sleeping, and crying but she is getting bigger and cuter each day. Also today I think she smiled at me, though it very well could have just been gas. Either way it was super cute. We had her blessed today and Jared gave her a very sweet blessing. We wish that we could have had family here for the blessing but it was really nice regardless.

Isn't she beautiful?

We are really missing Landon around here. The house is so much quieter without him around. But it looks as if he is having a GREAT time with Grammy and Grandpa so we are happy.

All because Two People Fell in Love...

Yesterday was mine and Jared's five year Anniversary. I can not believe that it has already been 5 years! We spent our day with me in the Hospital and Jared at home taking care of two sick kids. I know you are all probably jealous because really does an Anniversary get any more romantic then that? I think not ;).
Five years ago, I made the best decision of my life. I am so happy that I married my best friend, and I am more in love with Jared today then I was when we first got married. Jared is such a kind, loving, funny, and smart person. I am thankful for the husband he is to me and the father he is to our children.
In other news I am home from the hospital. As Jared mentioned early things went well and I am recovering well for the most part. In all honesty I am a little overwhelmed with the idea of having 3 children, but I think that is normal and that once we start getting back in to a routine it won't seem as scary. Ella is doing well. She has been a great baby so far and I am excited to watch her grow. Her are some more pictures for you all to enjoy!

Fun Weekend!

We had a really fun weekend....
The funtivities began on Friday with Torilynn's Birthday party. It was only the 4 of us as all of Tori's "friends" are at least 6 months older or younger then her.We started off the party by opening up Tori's presents. She got a Cabbage Patch doll and three little Disney Princess barbie type dolls. It was then time for birthday cake. As you can see from the above picture Tori was ready to dive in.She really enjoyed her cake.
Saturday morning we took the kids to the Zoo. It was a perfect day and the weather was lovely. Landon was so excited to be at the Zoo. He kept running from exhibit to exhibit and he was so excited to see all the animals.Landon looking at the Tiger.
This is a picture of Landon pointing at the fish. For some reason he was really excited to see the fish.
Here are some of the animals we saw:
A two hump Camel (this thing was HUGE!)
We saw Koi
A Peacock
Lions
Alligators
Landon's favorite part of our trip to the Zoo was riding the mini train. He was so excited! He kept saying "Mommy, I'm going to ride on a train!"
Landon and Jared on the train.
Tori also had fun at the Zoo.
Landon riding the giant turtle statue.
On Saturday night our ward had a Mother Daughter un-sleepover. Tori and I went and had a lot of fun visiting with the other ladies in our ward. They had delicious food and a lot of different activities for moms and their girls to do. Because Tori is so young we only ended up eating and painting Tori's toenails. I tried to get a picture of Tori's toes but the nail color was too light to see.
So we had a great fun filled weekend. We hope that you all had a nice weekend too. Also for all the Moms who read our blog Happy Mother's Day!

Pregnancy Update and other Random Stuff

I am just about 30 weeks along in my pregnancy. I can't believe that in a little over 2 months I will be having another baby. I am very excited but also very nervous as I have heard that the adjustment to 3 kids can be the hardest. In not so great news I found out yesterday that I failed my one hour glucose test for gestational diabetes. This means that I have to go into tomorrow and do the fasting 3 hour glucose test. This is the first time I have ever failed the one hour test and I am not looking forward to having to do the 3 hour test. I really hope that I pass it and that I don't in fact have Gestational Diabetes. Wish me luck....
On a happier note things here are going well. The kids are doing great and I love watching them interact with each other. On Sunday the Primary Chorister asked if I would go into Nursery and do singing time with the k ids. I had Torilynn and when I got into the Nursery they were still eating their snack. I decided to wait and a little girl came up to Tori and started to play with her. Landon looked right at this little girl and said "Cora you be nice to baby Tori" Cora wasn't doing anything that wasn't nice to Tori but it sure was cute to see Landon so protective of his little sister. Also during singing time Landon sang "Jesus wants Me for a Sunbeam" at the top of his lungs. It was very cute and I hope he keeps it up.
Here are some pictures of the kidos:
Tori is learning how to drink out of a straw sippy cup. I can't believe that she will be a year old next month. The time has really flown!

Yesterday was a pretty nice day so I took the kids to play outside for a little while.
Landon had a great time playing with his ball. He really liked kicking it around the yard. I just had to make sure that he stayed away from the street.

Landon also had fun "raking" the leaves that have been hidden under the snow for the last 4 months.

Tori just enjoyed being outside.
She also really liked crawling around in the grass.
It is a good thing that we got to play outside a little yesterday because today it is raining. I would complain but I'm just happy it isn't snowing :).

Fun Weekend....

This weekend has been a really good one. On Friday I got a new camera. I have been wanting a new camera for a while. My old camera was kinda hit and miss on the quality of pictures it would take. Most of the time my pictures would turn out really dark or blurry and that got really annoying. I love my new camera. It is a Canon PowerShot S5IS. It has 12x optical zoom (I love this. I hated how with my old camera I had to get up really close to something to get a good close up shot) and the picture quality is really great. As an added bonus it takes high quality video too!
For Easter my mom bought us the movie Enchanted. We had never seen it so Landon, Jared, and I watched it on Saturday. We all really enjoyed it so it was a win, win, win situation. I really recommend it for the few of you who may not have seen it yet. Thanks mom!
Today we had a great day at church. It was my month to do sharing time but the chorister had asked if she could spend the 5th Sunday doing music the whole hour. I was totally nice enough to let her do this :). It was really nice to have a break from preparing a lesson for sharing time and the kids loved all the fun activities that she had prepared for singing time so again, win win win. All in all this has been a good weekend. I know nothing really exciting happened but that is OK. I hope you all had a nice weekend too! Here are some pictures taken with our new camera:Landon with our old camera. He was trying to take a picture of me but he always ends up with his fingers over the lens.
Torilynn loves it when I open the front door and let her look outside through the screen.
Torilynn's first ponytail. OK so it really isn't much of a ponytail (can I even call it that?) and you can't see it great in this picture, but I was super excited that she finally has enough hair to pull up into a little ponytail holder.
A slightly better picture of the "ponytail." Tori was exhausted after a long hard day at church.
Not the best picture but Landon's church outfit today was very handsome!
