The Big Day: Landon's Baptism

This past Saturday, January 12, Landon was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints . It was a really special day, Jared baptized him and we had lots of friends and family in attendance.Landon was confirmed a member of the Church the next day and received the gift of the Holy Ghost.  I am so happy that Landon chose to be baptized. I love seeing his testimony start to develop and grow.  He is setting a great example for his younger sisters and brother and I am so happy that I have such a great kid as a son!Sometimes it is so wonderful watching my children grow up!

I wanted a picture of all the kids but Levi had no nap that day and was not cooperating, so I didn't even try.

8 year old pictures

It is hard to get good pictures of Landon around his birthday because it is so cold outside, but because turning 8 is such a big deal I was determined to get some decent pictures of him for his birthday/ baptism. My first attempt didn't turn out great, but I think my 2nd attempt did!

It's GREAT to be 8!

8 years old!

Today Landon turns 8! I can't believe that tiny little baby who made me a mother is now a 8! I am so pleased with the person Landon is becoming. He is smart, funny, and polite. He is the BEST big brother.  His sisters and brother all look up to him and love him. He tries hard to make good choices and he sets a good example for his friends and family. He is just a great kid and I love being his Mom! Happy Birthday Landon! I love you!
