What's up...

I posted some pictures of the older kids with the back to school posts but I realized I haven't posted any pictures of Levi in a while. He is growing up too fast, but I just love him. He is so funny, and very two, and just about the cutest little boy I've ever seen!

In other news I have a love/ hate relationship with Pinterest. I love it because it is awesome, I hate it because I could never possibly accomplish all the projects that I would like to do that I find on there. This afghan however is a rare Pinterest find that I did complete! I love it!

Notre Dame vs. BYU

So yesterday BYU played football against Notre Dame at Notre Dame for the first time since we moved here. I don't really get into sports too much, but I have a couple of brothers that do, and I thought it would be fun to tease them a little. 

Go Irish Cougars!!!

Sad that BYU lost....

But how awesome is it that Notre Dame is still undefeated? Like I said I am not a big sports fan but  people out here get pretty pretty excited about their Notre Dame football, and that excitement can't help but to rub off a little.

It's Ella's Turn!

Today is Ella's first day of PreK, and boy is she ready to go back to school! I think she has been kinda lonely since Tori and Landon started school. She will be going to the afternoon class this year, which means she will be going 5 days a week. I can't believe this girl will be starting Kindergarten next year; crazy!

Back to School 2012

 Summer break has come to an end and Landon and Tori headed back to school today. Landon is in 2nd grade this year and Tori is in Kindergarten. I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up, and it makes me a little sad that their childhood seems to be flashing before my eyes. But the joy I get from watching them grow and become these amazingly kind, compassionate, independent, and smart individuals overrides all of the sad stuff. Here's to another great school year!

Swim Lessons

This summer the kids have been taking swim lessons from some girls that go to our church.  These girls have done such a fantastic job, they are super nice, but they make the kids face their fears.



I took these videos of Landon yesterday and he swam even better today. He swam the width of the pool 2 or 3 times all by himself, and then he jumped off the diving board and swam to the edge with absolutely no help at all.

Holland Michigan

My mother-in-law came to visit the week of the 4th of July. We love it when she comes to visit because she always plans many "grand adventures." This trip one of the grand adventures was to visit a little theme park in Holland Michigan. The kids had a blast!
