Little Girls!

Having two little girls is interesting, fun, and at times exhausting. I love it!. I grew up with 6 brothers (and only 1 sister) and I obviously had a son first so for the majority of my life I have been used to being around little boys and little boy things. So it has been so much fun for me to have two little girls 13 months apart. Tori is so girly. She already loves shoes, clothes, and accessories. This past Sunday while I was doing her hair for church she insisted that I put a headband on her, I was planning something else but as you can see from the above picture she won that battle. Tori also insisted she take her purse to church on Sunday. But honestly why just accessorize in the day time? This is how I found Tori asleep the other night...

Apparently it is important to have your purse on you at all times.

But if I thought Tori was bad I think this girl just might top her in the girly department...

Ella is really something else. She LOVES shoes. She becomes giddy whenever I put her shoes on and we often find her walking around the house with her favorite pair of Tori's shoes (this does not make Tori happy).

But the incident that made me realize that I am really in trouble with Ella happened a few days ago. I had gotten out a dress for Tori to try on. I had bought this dress intending for Tori to wear it but Ella and and Tori are really close to the same size right now so I held it up to Ella to see if it might fit her better. After decideing that it would probably fit Tori better I put it on her. Well Ella was not happy about this ( I think because I held it up to her first she decided the dress was hers). She walked up to Tori and tried to pull the dress off of her sister. When that didn't work she started to scream. Ella can't even talk yet but she is already fighting with her sister over clothes. But even with these little fights I love my girls, they are so cute and fun, and I think the pros or having them so close together far out weigh the cons.

I am obsessed with Tori's outfit in the blue dress with her shoes and headband, that girl has fashion sense! I don't think Kalli will be girly which makes me sad... she pulls off all her headbands and clips. Boo! Tell your girls to come over here and teach her how to be a true girl!

So fun. I hope that Josie can be girlie like that. Hopefully we'll live close soon and Tori and Ella can train Josie in the ways of girliness.

I also want one of those cloth flower headbands (for Josie, for me, whatever). :)
